Salado Ladies Community League
We are committed to enhancing, improving, and promoting the Village of Salado.
The Salado Ladies Community League brings women together in service to the Village of Salado. Through community events, educational programs, and fundraising initiatives, the League works to enhance and promote the community while supporting local nonprofit organizations through grants and investing in Salado’s students through an annual scholarship.
The League began informally in 1973, when a group of friends gathered in one another’s homes with a shared desire to support their community. After the Salado Chamber of Commerce invited the group to help organize several Village events, its members formally established the Salado Ladies Community League and elected their first board of officers on April 11, 1974.
Since its founding, the Salado Ladies Community League has raised more than $270,000 to benefit Salado and the organizations that serve it.
